The 8th edition of Creaconference ran from April 15 to 18 in the beautiful city of Sestri Levante and if you want to experience a creative take your seats for 2011. I wish to make a very critical article, and give itself time to talk about this as a journalist could do: but this I definitely impossible posture.
I lived during those five days, a creative experience. I have not stopped being in my element, to bathe in the ideas, concepts of play, to lead and to be animated, live the change and innovation. It was a cure! I have not stopped producing new ideas, have fun and learn. And yet I am not left Paris for the conference by being convinced to find what I want. To go faster I try to understand the positions of creative science and engineering and then promote or assist them. If you just look the above video if you feel maybe a slight delay. In fact it should be deceived by my way of taking pictures related to the fact that I seek to capture the atmosphere with the least recognizable faces hoping to avoid the problems of image rights. In this video you can not see all the exhibitions and workshops, and programs that I could not fully follow all the time taking photos.

I followed the program "The Art of inventing ideas" French. This training shows the contribution of a slow pace in developing ideas. This methodology is highly complementary to the dynamic approach commonly provided by conventional practice of "Creative Problem Solving" allows a deeper and more distance sensitive. Although I had to relearn how to take the time, this method allowed to develop imagination within a group. The formation of just under 3 days to pass all-speed despite the method as what relativity does exist! - And is taught by a trio of exception: Isabelle Jacob (creator of the network www.iris -consultants.com ) Guy Aznar ( www.creativite-conseils.com ) Stéphane Ely ( www.elycorp.com ) that are three characters missed as soon as we talk about creativity France.
We have applied this sensitive approach to practical cases such as how make the existence of the iPad an opportunity for booksellers. We used this case study to explore methods, graphics, body or narrative, introspective or projective who bring results more connected with the imaginary group. The training also made me aware of different rhythms in the development of concepts that we observe in the work of the scientist. In this regard, Guy considers that the thought of the scientist adopts an even slower pace, which for me, opens the question of rhythm in research: in the experimental aspects, in developing questioning in the assessment models and also in management "project" of a research program.
Workshops:
It is impossible to forget the contribution of workshops in this conference. We are indeed many to be disappointed to be unable to see them all. Over 50 workshops with a passion for creativity that show views, thoughts, approaches or different experiments. Without wishing to make a selection "hedonistic" or a best-off of these micro awkward formations here more workshops in which I participated, the idea being to share with you the topics that attract me (feel, moreover, to comment out the workshops that you have marked and which are not in this list).

I could not reproduce the richness and intensity of meetings that can be done in the context of this conference. By its nature, Creaconference -like Crea-France- also provides strong links between professionals and enthusiasts and creative, sometimes lonely evangelists or precursors in their companies. I was surprised to meet the participants with whom I shared similar concerns, and the same feelings. Proximity to the "stars" that are far from behaving as such, is remarkable and even moving. It is under the "after" festive, with meals, or those little moments of pending break between workshops of Creaconference I met people who deserve to be known as Sylvie Courcelle Labrousse that I keep up my copy for the creative activities within Bell Labs as Stephen Ely with whom I could share on the management of innovation. I will remember discussions with Isabelle Jacob on the arrival of creative methods in France, the support that made me Olwen Wolfe ( www.worlding.com ) and Delphine Batton for the workshop that I prepare well and other times I could return to you quickly. This will, in this regard, an interesting creative challenge to keep that spirit despite the increasing popularity of this conference. It is in this identity creatively shifted a core value.
The French community, Francophone and Crea-France was from what I understand particularly well represented this year. And I want to emphasize that bringing the atmosphere of philosophy multi-language conference. Hear Italian, English and French, charmed me and gives a true international flavor to the event compared to a conference "monotonolinguale. I'd end up with a boundless gratitude to the staff of Creaconference and Sophie Gobet that we have, quite simply, the opportunity to live fully in this conference we are simplifying life.
